The Afternoon Started with Something I’ll Never Forget

Before we ever got into curriculum…
before the videos…
before the discussion…

My three girls took the stage.

Hallie, my 8-year-old, led the Pledge of Allegiance.
Juliette, my 11-year-old, followed by reciting the Preamble to the Constitution.

And then Savanna…

My 15-year-old opened us in prayer.

And I had to fight back tears.

There’s something powerful about hearing your child pray boldly in a room full of adults—not because they were told to… but because they wanted to.

That moment set the tone for everything that followed.
