To those troubled by Audit The Vote’s recent public criticism of Scott Presler and Early Vote Action, I’m writing this article for you. My only request is for you to please read it with an open mind and an open heart. Use the same critical thinking skills that woke you up in the first place and consider, just for a moment, the possibility that we might be onto something.

I’ll begin by giving you more context and backstory as to why we’ve taken such a hard stance so you can grasp some of the frustration and grave concern for the Republic that's driving us. This isn’t some petty grudge or thirst for drama, and it’s certainly not jealously—it’s a gut-wrenching fight to save our elections and our country. I’m laying bare the exhausting road that led us here, the countless times we’ve been ignored, and why we can’t stay silent about it any longer and will continue to speak out until our concerns are resolved.

First, let me say that despite all the harsh critcism, we do have some common ground with one of the issues that Early Vote Action is supporting—We fully align with the campaign to vote “NO” on the retention of Pennsylvania’s three activist Supreme Court Justices this November, and we’re thankful Early Vote Action is using their platform to sound the alarm on that. However, we’re plagued with a strong, evidence based possibility that their strategy is going to lead us right off a cliff, and Scott’s refusal to engage with those who have opposing views have us raising our eyebrows and trying to figure out why.

Are We Heading Off a Cliff?

Our clash with Early Vote Action boils down to their strong push to embrace Pennsylvania’s mail-in ballot system to boost MAGA turnout. I get the logic behind it. Democrats seem to steamroll us with mail-in votes, and with a Democrat-controlled House and a Governor who blocks reform, it feels like we’re backed into a corner. On the surface, it makes total sense and appears as though we have no choice but to play their game.

We agonized over this path in 2021 and 2022, hoping to use the system to elect leaders who’d repeal Act 77 and secure our elections. But five soul-crushing years of dissecting Pennsylvania’s election system—pouring over data, exposing vulnerabilities, fighting in the trenches to find a resolution with the legislators and/or the county executives—have shown us the ugly truth: mail-in ballots are a rigged game.

Why would we trust a system crawling with flaws that bad actors can exploit? We know these vulnerabilities stole 2020. Our canvassing effort in 12 different counties proves it. That same system crippled us in 2022, and handed us crushing defeats in all four 2023 statewide judicial races. Without Trump’s massive draw to make elections “too big to rig,” diving headfirst into mail-in ballots feels like handing our enemies a loaded gun and just standing there waiting for them to pull the trigger.

Doesn’t that worry you?

We’re not just losing elections—we’re losing ground in a war for our Republic. My heart aches every time I think of my three daughters growing up in a country where their votes don't count. There’s got to be a better way to increase turnout without handing over the keys for fraud.

Knocking on a Locked Door

For over a year, we pounded on Scott Presler’s door, pleading for a chance to explain our findings in more detail in hopes of helping him understand the flaws that are baked into the current system, which make embracing his current path so dangerous. In February 2024, I was able to speak to him on the phone before the Bucks County special election—a do-or-die long shot to flip the Pennsylvania House. He was warm and friendly, walking me through Early Vote Action’s app so we could use our local Bucks County network to help ‘get-out-the-vote’ efforts. We hung up on good terms, but without addressing concerns about voting my mail. I just didn’t think the timing was right for that conversation.

Then we lost that election.

By the summer of 2024 when the Trump campaign started the “Swamp the Vote” mantra, which in Pennsylvania meant fully embracing mail-in ballots, my stomach churned, and I wasn’t the only one. Election integrity activists all across the country started sounding the alarm—why were we betting on a broken system? I bit my tongue for the sake of unity and faced severe criticism from other election integrity activists for not speaking out against Scott, but I stood my ground and stayed quiet. At the time, I thought that Early Vote Action was simply registering voters and encouraging them to vote before election day, and I didn’t want to do or say anything that could hurt any ‘get-out-the-vote’ efforts, even if I disagreed with the method being used.

At the August 2024 Butler rally, honoring fallen firefighter Corey Comperatore, I finally met Scott in person. Initially he was cordial. I tried to build a bridge and find common ground when he proceeded to tell me that he too was an election integrity activist. My first thought was, “Awesome! We need to talk then.” But as soon as I started explaining to him some of the things we were working on, he cut me off mid-sentence, shook my hand, and turned around, making it obvious that our conversation was over. The message was loud and clear—He didn’t want to hear anything I had to say.

I thought, “Why the dismissal? What was so threatening about a conversation on election integrity?”

Staying Mission Focused

Still, I stayed silent, pouring my efforts into recruiting fearless poll watchers who were willing to go into Allegheny County’s roughest precincts in hopes of stopping the deep state from stealing another Presidential election. I even secured a donor to help me pay the poll watchers, and we were able to triage pretty serious issues on election day and kept things from escalating to the level of pizza boxes blocking our view into the voting process… remember 2020? We’ll never forget it.

When my poll watchers had finished up for the night and started reporting their findings, the relieving reality was that Trump had gotten 30 - 40% of the vote in some of the bluest precincts of the city. That was when I started to think we might have a real shot at winning. Shortly after midnight, Pennsylvania was called for Trump and so was the election. I was shocked, but collapsed in tears of relief.

Will We Make It To Inauguration Day?

I spent between November 6th and January 20th on pins and needles just waiting for the other shoe to drop. I thought, “Certainly they’re not going to just let him back into such a high position of power without trying to stop him.” My biggest fear was that another January 13th type of scenario would unfold, and heaven forbid they succeed. What are we going to do then?

To my grateful surprise, I sat in a beautiful ballroom all dressed up at the Westin in Washington DC on January 20th and celebrated the inauguration of our 47th President. What a breath of fresh air!

We really did it. We stopped another steal! The reality of the win finally started to sink into my brain and I felt like I could relax just a little bit. We could finally pursue our work without feeling like the house was on fire.

I hadn’t really noticed that Scott had taken a nationwide victory lap claiming credit for Trump’s win in Pennsylvania. Trump won. Mission accomplished. Who cares who gets credit? Now it’s time to secure our state, and that was my focus.

Growing Concerns Post Election

Some time in early February 2025, Scott began posting on his social media about using AI to clean voter rolls—an effort we pursued for years but were blocked by federal laws every time. Thankfully there was another group called PA Fair Elections who managed to find a process that worked to remove out-of-state voters right before the 2024 election. This was the ONLY effort that proved somewhat fruitful, so I started commenting on Scott’s posts, hoping to share some of those findings and help save him time, but I received no response. He continued posting things that sounded election integrity focused, but he refused to answer any of my attempts to connect.

I thought that was really strange because when I tried to talk to him about election integrity when we met in Butler, it was clear he didn’t want to hear anything about it. Now, all of a sudden he’s all about election integrity in Pennsylvania? It left me scratching my head. What’s going on here?

A Deep Dive into the 2024 Results: How DID Trump win Pennsylvania?

A data driven analysis from our team further heightened our concerns. Public records show Trump’s 2024 win stemmed from a 3% turnout increase, Act 88’s prohibition on stopping vote counts, the absence of Zuckerbucks, and robust drop box and poll-watching—not newly registered voters using mail-in ballots. In fact, only 20,000 newly registered Republican voters participated in the “early voting” period for the 2024 election. President Trump won the state by over 100,000 votes, indicating that he would’ve won with or without the “swamp the vote” early campaign.

Don’t misunderstand what I’m saying here. We need to “swamp the vote”. But do we need to “swamp the vote” early? That’s not what gave Trump the win, so maybe the risk of fraud by using mail-in ballots is greater than the potential benefit of a win? Maybe there’s a less risky way of increasing turnout that doesn’t feed the fraud? Maybe there’s a better way to beat the Democrats at their own game?

The Lancaster Special Election: A Turning Point

February 2025’s Lancaster election echoed the 2022 trends: Republicans who voted by mail often support Democrats, while Democrats voting by mail overwhelmingly back their candidates. This is a STRONG indication that mail-in ballots actually dilute Republican votes. And Early Vote Action wants to fully embrace this? Hmmm… can we have a conversation before we push this?

Frustrated, I reached out to a national election integrity expert and a donor supporting both our groups, requesting a private meeting with Scott to review our data and align strategies. I wanted to give him the benefit of the doubt. Maybe he had data that we didn’t. Maybe he was looking at something we were missing. Why push a strategy that’s failing us? It’s not just data—it’s a warning we can’t ignore.

No such meeting ever materialized.

Sounding the Alarm

I started doing interviews trying to draw attention to the Lancaster Special Election. I put out a video explaining the data. I was hoping someone close to Scott could get him to listen to us. The evidence we have is showing that embracing mail-in ballots and early voting is going to take us off a cliff! And Early Vote Action is in a full court press to put mail-in ballots in the hands of every low propensity voter who is uninformed and uninvolved. Why the heck won’t he have a conversation with us? Something isn’t right here.

After the Wisconsin loss in March, I went on his X account to make ANOTHER plea for help… that’s when I noticed, I WAS BLOCKED!

What the heck is going on here? Conservatives don’t block people who have dissenting opinions, do they? I know Scott. He knows me. All I’m asking for is a conversation.

In May 2025 when Brandon Straka, founder of #WalkAway, broke his silence about Scott, I started to feel validated. In a raw video, Straka—a former ally—called Scott out for what appears to be some major character flaws. Hearing Straka’s story was like a thunderbolt—it validated every sleepless night we’ve spent wrestling with these doubts. If someone as close to Scott as Straka was is asking these questions, why aren’t we all? His courage lit a fire under us, screaming that we had to keep speaking out before it’s too late.

This Isn’t Infighting—It’s a Fight for Accountability

Some cry “infighting,” accusing us of fracturing the MAGA movement. That’s certainly not the goal. This isn’t about tearing anyone down—it’s about demanding accountability, the bedrock of the conservative values we bleed for. When Scott pushes a strategy we believe dooms us, ignores our outreach, and censors dissent, we can’t shrug and move on. Why should we stay quiet when our elections are at stake? Accountability isn’t division—it’s the courage to demand truth, just as Straka did. As Christians, as patriots, we’re called to hold each other to a higher standard. To do less would betray the republic we’re fighting for.

Whispers haunt us—some call Scott a plant to sabotage MAGA, others say fame has warped him, or maybe he’s just blind to the damage. In 2021, Audit The Vote connected with Presler and asked for his support on a 2020 election audit. He said he had no interest in looking back, and just wanted to move forward with voter registration. At the time, I didn’t think much of it, but now I can’t help but wonder, why dodge an audit? Why push AI fixes we’ve proven don’t work? Why tag figures like Elon Musk for funding ideas that lead nowhere? My heart is heavy, but these questions won’t let me rest.

A Desperate Plea for Answers

Some say Scott owes us nothing. I respectfully disagree. As Americans, as people of faith, we answer to each other. Accountability is how we root out the corruption that’s embedded itself deep into our own government. With patriots like Straka and countless others raising alarms, we need a public reckoning with Scott—not to destroy him, but to save our movement. Why won’t he face us? What’s stopping him from sitting down, hashing this out, and proving us wrong?

Audit The Vote is charging forward in Pennsylvania with a plan to secure our elections, but we’re not built to fight alone. We need Scott and Early Vote Action as allies, not enigmas. I’m pleading for a public dialogue, raw and real, to answer these gnawing questions. Our country, our children, our future—they’re worth fighting for.

Why won’t Scott fight with us?
