If you followed the news cycle at all, you are aware that Governor Shapiro issued a debilitating blow to the election integrity efforts across the Commonwealth when he announced that he is implementing automatic voter registration for anyone renewing or applying for a PA driver’s license. No longer will you have to “opt-in” to register to vote at the DMV, but rather this will be an automatically generated feature that you will have to “opt-out” of, if you so desire.
What could possibly go wrong?
The irony of it all lies in the midst of his personal attacks on me during his Gubernatorial campaign.
