Josh Shapiro was willing to leave Pennsylvania out of one of the most historic celebrations in our nation’s history.

We the People weren’t willing to let that happen.

Over the past several weeks, thousands of Pennsylvanians started asking questions, making phone calls, sending emails, posting on social media, and refusing to quietly accept that the Keystone State—the birthplace of American freedom—would have no presence at the Great American State Fair.

In the end, Pennsylvania will be represented after all.

Not because the Governor’s office stepped up.

But because ordinary citizens spoke up, pressure was applied, and two U.S. Senators put politics aside to find a solution.
