Audit The Vote Podcast Update: Hitting Pause to Join #WalkAway in NYC
Topic: Audit The Vote Podcast Update
Friends,
I wanted to share something important with you. The Audit The Vote Podcast is going on hold for just a short while — but for a very good reason.
Over the next couple of months, I’ll be joining forces with Brandon Straka and the #WalkAway Campaign to push back against the socialist/communist takeover happening right in New York City. Specifically, we are laser-focused on defeating Democrat candidate, Zohran Mamdani, whose radical agenda threatens the future of NYC and beyond.
Why #WalkAway?
Let’s be real: the math in New York City is unlike anywhere else. If we’re going to win this fight, it won’t be because Republicans show up in record numbers. It will be because Democrats themselves walk away from their own candidate and vote differently this November.
That’s something only Brandon and the #WalkAway team can accomplish. They’ve been doing it since 2018 — convincing Democrats, independents, and moderates to step away from the radical Left’s agenda. That’s why I’m honored to serve as Brandon’s Director of Activism for this project and will be helping his team with strategy and organizing volunteer canvassing teams.
The Plan
We’re taking a persuasion-first approach in the very neighborhoods that usually get written off. That means:
Face-to-face conversations on the sidewalks of Brooklyn, Queens, and Manhattan—meeting voters where they live and work, not where we wish they were.
Testimonial-driven messaging—former Democrats sharing why they #WalkedAway from radical policies that hurt public safety, small businesses, and working families.
Community events & visibility—rallies, street teams, and “ask me why I #WalkedAway” booths that spark real dialogue (not just drive-by slogans).
Rapid-response digital content—short, sharable clips that speak to kitchen-table issues: rent, crime, schools, and the cost of living.
Data-guided precinct targeting—we’re focusing time and volunteers where swingable Democrats actually are, not where it’s comfortable.
In short: we’re building a permission structure for lifelong Democrats to vote differently this November—without asking them to change their identity overnight. That’s the unique superpower of #WalkAway, and it’s why I’m all-in.
What This Means for the Podcast
The Audit The Vote Podcast will be on pause until after the November election while I serve as Brandon’s Director of Activism for this NYC project. I’ll still write articles on this platform and post updates on my socials so you can follow along, and we’ll come roaring back after Election Day with:
A full field debrief—what worked, what didn’t, and how to replicate it in other blue cities.
Interviews with former Democrats who chose sanity over slogans.
A playbook for citizen activism that moves real votes—not just timelines.

Why This Fight Matters
New York’s political machine expects the usual script: low-energy opposition, predictable results. We’re tearing up that script. In a district this blue, the only path to victory runs through persuading Democrats—and #WalkAway is the only organization built to do exactly that. Brandon has the receipts. The movement has the stories. And with your help, we’ll have the manpower.
Thank you for giving me the space to lean in where I’m needed most right now. Pressing pause on the podcast isn’t stepping back—it’s stepping into the arena. I can’t wait to bring the lessons home after November.
See you in Queens.

🗳 Help Protect Pennsylvania’s Elections
If you live in Pennsylvania, there’s something you can do right now to secure our elections: run for Judge of Elections or Inspector of Elections in your precinct.
These positions are how citizens—not politicians or vendors—make sure the process is transparent on Election Day. If we don’t fill them, someone else will.
